新浪游戏讯 1月22日消息，近日，德国互动娱乐开发公司Crytek官网发布声明，宣布授权腾讯使用CryENGINE3开发引擎。Crytek官网称，腾讯互动娱乐业务部门将采用Crytek的游戏引擎来进行其下一款PC在线游戏的开发。

据介绍，腾讯签下Crytek旗下MMO FPS网游《战争前线》(Warface)后已步入测试期。本次Crytek官方声明意味着Crytek与腾讯在新游上实现更多合作。声明称，CryENGINE资深支持团队已经和腾讯的开发团队合作了一段时间，已经在3个月之内实现了一个完成度很高的可玩的游戏原型。(云莱)

Frankfurt (Germany)，December XX, 2011–Crytek GmbH (Crytek)is very excited to announce the licensing deal for its proprietary real-time development solution, CryENGINE 3 with Tencent. 

The world-class online game developer and operator, and also is recognized as the largest online game community in China, will use Crytek’s game engine within the ‘Interactive Entertainment Service’ division for their next PC online game in order to achieve cutting-edge graphic quality together with a stunning outdoor environment in a comparably short timeframe。

“It’s a very exciting experience for us to have Tencent as our 8th CryENGINE licensee in China.  We’re delighted that Tencent have chosen CryENGINE for what promises to be a very interesting title”， said Carl Jones, Director of Global Business Development – CryENGINE. “Our experienced support team has been working with Tencent for a while now and we’re all really impressed with the work from Tencent’s developers, who are looking to achieve an ambitious vision!” 

Tencent’s producer, Weishitao said: “We selected CryEngine3 after researching most available cutting-edge 3D game engines. CryEngine3’s high quality graphics, built-in physics engine and powerful game creation toolset are exactly what we want. We’ve made a high quality playable game prototype within 3 months.  It has been great experience working with Crytek。”
