　　早在2009年10月份，AV-就公布了病毒移除对比测试结果。结果显示，在16款测试产品中，只有微软MSE、eScan（eScan Anti-Virus ）以及赛门铁克（Norton Anti-Virus 2010）这3款产品可以全部拦截和移除恶意软件样本。
　　在本次动态防护性能测试中，AV-模拟了一些列现实世界中的常见操作，包括下载，文件复制，压缩/解压，编码/解码，安装和启动应用程序。AV-还另外进行了一个WorldBench基准测试。

　　在所有测试产品中，微软MSE是性能表现最为优异的免费杀毒软件之一。在6个单项性能测试中，只有微软MSE和F-secure这两款杀软全部获得“very fast”（很快）评价。因此，微软MSE获得了AV-最高级别的认证——Advanced+。
